Template Installation Guide
Optimize your production workflow in a few simple steps
The Golden Rule
The file you downloaded is your Master Template. To prevent accidental data loss, missing configurations, or file corruption, do not write directly inside this project workspace.
As soon as you open the file, navigate immediately to File > Save As and rename the project according to your current track. This ensures your original template remains clean, uncorrupted, and perfectly reusable for future sessions.
Cubase Setup Procedure
Your Cubase workspace is delivered as a fully integrated project file. Tracks, complex audio routing, MIDI configurations, and system automations are completely preloaded for an immediate experience.
Step 1: Project Initialization
Launch Cubase and open the provided project file with the .cpr extension. If you are new to the platform, do not look for an installation software or an executable manager. Simply double click the project file to mount your workspace.
Step 2: Hardware Device Setup
Ensure your physical interface is correctly mapped to the virtual environment. Navigate to Studio, choose Studio Setup, and select your dedicated driver. If you encounter complete silence upon playback, head to Studio > Audio Connections and verify that your Master Stereo Out is routed to the physical ports feeding your monitors or studio headphones.
Step 3: Expression Maps Verification
All professional articulations and system expression maps are loaded and linked to their respective tracks. You do not need to import anything else. If you wish to inspect or adjust the current layout matrices, you can open the Expression Map Setup panel directly from the track inspector on the left sidebar.
Step 4: Missing Samples Resolution
If Kontakt or your virtual engine displays a missing files alert, your local hard drive pathways differ from the database configurations. Do not panick. Click the automated lookup function inside the plugin, select your local directory where you store your sample data, and the engine will automatically ricollegate all target assets.
Dorico Setup Procedure
Your Dorico notation workspace adapts to your existing configuration models or loads specific professional sample profiles automatically, depending on the structure of your template selection.
Step 1: Document Loading
Launch Dorico and open the designated .dorico document. If your configuration features advanced preconfigured mapping systems, the software will load your virtual palette instantly in the background.

Step 2: Playback Model Enforcement
For adaptive architectures using your personal library configurations, you can assign your workspace parameters easily. Navigate to Play, click on Playback Template, select Apply Template, and choose your desired orchestral environment.
Important Troubleshooting Rule
Should Dorico automatically apply its standard stock sounds instead of loading your custom pro plugins, the software has overwritten the file layout with its native default profile.
The Fix: Close your file workspace, launch a completely blank default project first, and then open your purchased template file. This specific sequence blocks the internal default overlay and forces Dorico to preserve the embedded audio configurations and articulation routings perfectly.
